We recently received a notification from the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) about the upcoming upgrade of the BizFile+ system and the transition to the new Bizfile portal. To help you prepare, we’ve highlighted the key points here. Please review them to plan ahead and avoid any inconvenience.
There are two important updates to share:
- BizFile+ system downtime: BizFile+ will be unavailable from 8pm, 4 Dec to 8am, 9 Dec 2024 for system migration.
- New Bizfile launch: The new Bizfile portal will go live on 9 Dec 2024.
Important things to note
- Service Unavailability: All BizFile+ and VCC services (like business registration, updates, and annual filings) will be offline from 8pm, 4 Dec 2024 to 8am, 9 Dec 2024. Some eServices may become unavailable earlier (20 Nov or 27 Nov)
- Extended Filing Deadlines: Filings due between 4 Dec 2024 and 9 Dec 2024 will not incur late penalties. The deadline for these filings is extended to 16 Dec 2024.
- Accessing Business Information: iShop, API Marketplace, and API Mall will be offline from 4 to 9 Dec. You can still purchase business profiles through ACRA’s authorized Information Service Providers (ISPs). Products bought before 4 Dec can be downloaded within 7 days using the download code.
- Complete Transactions by 4 Dec 2024: Corporate Service Providers (CSPs) should complete filings and transactions by 8pm, 4 Dec to ensure processing. Incomplete transactions will require resubmission on 9 Dec. No refunds will be given for unfinished transactions.
- Resources for Transition: Tutorials, training videos, and FAQs will be available on the ACRA website soon.
The Bizfile upgrade will greatly improve user experience, offering a more efficient service platform for businesses. Please use the available resources for a smooth transition. If you need to make changes, contact the company secretary before 4 December 2024 for assistance.
