It should be noted that entry to Singapore only includes Singaporean citizens, permanent residents or long-term pass holders; while entry to Malaysia only includes Malaysian citizens, permanent residents or local long-term pass holders.
Here are some information about the VTL process of land transportation in Singapore and Malaysia, so that you can easily understand it!
Singapore and Malaysia VTL designated land transportation
For the designated transportation buses Transtar and Causeway Link that are open to land, passengers must purchase tickets online through the websites of individual companies.
Each family operates 32 trips (16 round trips), and each trip can do 45 people. Passengers must buy tickets at least three days before the departure date, and can only buy tickets up to 30 days in advance.
Adult tickets from Singapore are SGD15 and from Johor Bahru Larkin Station are RM20. Child tickets are SGD8 and RM10 respectively.

Overland process from Singapore to Malaysia (before departure)
1. Make sure you have completed vaccination and have a valid vaccination certificate with QR code

Note: After getting off the bus at Larkin Sentral Bus Terminal in Johor Bahru, a Rapid Testing Kit (Rapid Testing Kit) test is required (paid on the spot, no advance reservation required). The fee is RM60, and either electronic payment or cash is acceptable.

1. Make sure that you have completed the activity and have a valid certificate of issuance with a QR code attached to the Singapore synchronization tracking application, HealthHHH or Notarise website https://www.notarise.gov/ Download in Malaysia: MySejahtera application
2. Three days ago, go to the SafeTravel website https://safetravel.ica.gov.sg/ to apply for an authorizer pass (for long-term certificate holders)
3. Fill in the e-mail card online within three days before mailing the package online at https://eservices.ica.gov.sg/sgarrivalcard/ or download the “SG Arrival Card” mobile application, and fill in and submit the e-credit card. *All identities must be filled in
4. Within 2 days before), the approved RTK/PCR test, the result is one week of discovery (Negative). The report must be in English.

Can I drive, cycle or walk across the embankment?
No. Passengers crossing the embankment via Singapore-Malaysia VTL must take a designated bus to and from. Private transportation such as motorcycles, cars or walking and other modes of transportation are not open.

How many COVID-19 tests should be done for a trip back and forth between Singapore and Malaysia?
A total of 4 times. Passengers must undergo rapid antigen test (ART) or polymerase chain reaction (PCR) conducted by professionals within two days before leaving Singapore, and the result is negative. After arriving in Malaysia, passengers must undergo an arrival RTK test at Laqing Central Station. When returning from Malaysia to Singapore, passengers must undergo an ART test or PCR test conducted by a professional within two days before entry.
